Southern New Jersey Perinatal Cooperative seeks a Health Educator to expand evidence-based curricula (TOP, Teen Speak, Love Notes) for middle school youth (10-14). You will collaborate with the SRAE team to engage middle schools, implement curriculum with fidelity, and support evaluation and community outreach initiatives.

The role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with experience in youth programs and a valid driver’s license.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required, Health Education preferred.
• 3 years’ experience working with young people in school and community settings.
• Demonstrated leadership, shows initiative, can work independently.
• Organizational skills; ability to prioritize workload.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with social media.
• Knowledge of both urban and rural community resources.
• Ability to develop rapport with youth from diverse backgrounds.
• Valid driver’s license, car, and current insurance policy.

Responsabilidades

• Expand TOP, Teen Speak, and Love Notes curricula for middle school aged youth (10-14).
• Collaborate with SRAE team to engage middle schools and implement curriculum with fidelity.
• Oversee evaluation activities and develop community awareness campaigns.
• Provide trainings and technical assistance; liaison for state and community communications.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with grant obligations.
