Job summary

Transitions Counseling and Consulting seeks a licensed mental health therapist/counselor to provide group-based and individual therapy for adolescents and adults in a TX-based office. The role emphasizes group therapy for teens 2-3 days per week, with after-school and early-evening hours in a supportive, collaborative environment.

The position offers a salaried 65,000–72,000 USD annually, plus 8,000–10,000+ USD annual bonus potential, comprehensive benefits, generous time off, health/retirement

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in Texas as an LPC-A, LMSW, LAMFT, LPC, LCSW, or LMFT.
• No suspension/exclusion/debarment from participation in federal health care programs (e.g., TriWest, TRICARE, Medicare, Medicaid, SCHIP, etc.).
• Minimum master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field.
• Continuously maintain active CPR and first aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
• Provide group and individual therapy to teens and adults using evidence-based practices to address depression, anxiety, and social challenges.
• Work closely with other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
• Guide and mentor advanced graduate interns.
• Lead our group therapy programs 2-3 days a week (after school and early evening hours).
• This role is designed to be in office at the designated location for team collaboration and supervision support.
