Job summary

The Tahquitz Creek Golf Club in Palm Springs, CA is seeking a seasonal, part-time Golf Greeter to welcome players, manage tee times, and communicate course rules. The role requires a friendly, customer-focused individual capable of standing for long periods and working irregular hours.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, assisting with tee-time flow, range setup, and keeping areas tidy. Prior retail or food & beverage experience is a plus; must be at least 16 years of age.

Qualifications

• Punctual and reliable candidate with an outgoing personality.
• Experience in Food & Beverage or Retail helpful.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to navigate simple systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to stand long hours and work irregular hours.
• Must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional member/guest services.
• Greet guests and manage tee times for timely play.
• Communicate club policies and course information to players.
• Assist with club storage and cart fleet duties as needed.
• Set up Driving Range and monitor golf ball levels.
• Keep outside areas clean, including storage and courtyard.
• Occasional marshal trips around the course.
• Enforce course rules and safety; remove violators when necessary.
• Monitor pace of play and update Golf Pro Shop on status.
