Job summary

PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, FL is seeking a Player Assistant to deliver top-tier customer service to Members and Guests on the golf course. You will assist with etiquette, safety, and course flow while staying on schedule and coordinating with staff.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic golf knowledge, and the ability to communicate clearly. Outdoor and indoor work are both required as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Basic golf knowledge required.
• Ability to communicate and follow instructions.
• Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and friendly customer service to Members and Guests on the golf course.
• Be on the course as scheduled, coordinating with starters or staff as needed.
• Assist Members and Guests and offer etiquette guidance.
• Enforce all club rules related to the golf course.
• Maintain professionalism when interacting with Members or Guests.
• Assist with finding lost balls and providing rides as requested.
• Fix ball marks, fill divots, and tidy up course areas as able.
• Coordinate with other golf operations staff to ensure seamless service.
• Inform Members/Guests about Club services, features, events, and specials.
• Complete daily assignments to meet Club standards.
• Support teammates to deliver the 3 steps of service.
• Notify supervisor of complaints and participate in service recovery.
