Job summary

Kitchen Dynamics Corp in Englewood, NJ is seeking a Refrigeration Technician to service commercial kitchen equipment in the field. You will diagnose, repair, install units to spec, and perform preventative maintenance for clients in the foodservice industry.

You will report to the Service Manager and the Owner, collaborating with a small team to ensure reliable, safe operations. The role requires EPA certification, a clean driver's license, and at least 5 years' experience; weekend availability

Qualifications

• EPA Certification required.
• Clean Driver’s License required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in refrigeration or related field.
• Experience in servicing food and beverage industry is a plus.
• Flexible to work some weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment for commercial clients.
• Read and understand manufacturer schematics.
• Install units to manufacturer’s specification.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Remove and dispose of refrigerant.
• Repair or upgrading of systems.
• Calibrate, inspect and test systems and components.
• Discuss system malfunctions with customers and provide recommendations for maintenance.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Refrigeration Technician to work with us and provide service to our customers. The technician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing equipment for commercial clients within the food service industry. The technician will report to the Service Manager as well as the Owner. We are a small, growing company and are looking for candidates that enjoy working in a small team with close collaboration.

Duties

• Diagnosing and repairing equipment
• Reading and understanding manufacturer schematics
• Installing units to manufacturer’s specification
• Performing preventative maintenance
• Removing and disposing of refrigerant
• Repairing or upgrading systems
• Calibrating systemsInspecting and testing systems and components
