National Beef Leathers of St. Joseph, Missouri is seeking a Maintenance Technician for night shift on-site. The role focuses on maintaining mechanical equipment, repairing components, and performing preventative maintenance to ensure safe, stable operations.

Qualifications include mechanical skills, ability to use common tools, and basic English proficiency. At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S. preferred; on-site schedule rotates weekly with 3½ days work.

• Create daily activity reports and coordinate with management.

Our schedules rotate every four weeks between the following:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday – full shift; Thursday – half shift

Friday, Saturday, Sunday – full shift; Thursday – half shift

• $23.10 base wage

Responsabilidades

Maintenance Technician position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Fixing and maintaining mechanical equipment, buildings, and machines
• Rebuilding, repairing, and/or replacing equipment/machinery/parts
• Performing preventative maintenance
• Installing equipment/machinery/parts
• Inspecting and troubleshooting equipment and systems
• Creating daily activity reports
• Collaborationwith management and other departments regarding maintenanceissues throughout the facility
• Other duties as assigned

This is a safety sensitive position. This is an on-site position.

Cualificaciones

Qualified candidates for the Maintenance Technician Position should possess the following:

• Mechanical skills and understanding of basic machine functions
• Ability to use common tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and wrenches
• Basic computer skills
• Willingness to work and be on time when scheduled
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Strong work ethic and eye for detail
• Exemplary safety record (with previous employer)
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

The following experience is preferred but not required:

• Electrical
• Industrial Maintenance Experience
• General knowledge of tannery layout

Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
