Soap Lake Resort is seeking a reliable, skilled Maintenance Technician to support daily operations across our historic Inn, cottages, lodges, spa facilities, and resort grounds. This role ensures the property remains safe, functional, and guest-ready at all times.

You’ll handle routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and urgent service calls with professionalism and efficiency, collaborating with housekeeping and front desk to prioritize tasks.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of property maintenance or building operations experience.
• Proficient in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and equipment troubleshooting.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors/in all seasons.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Respond to after-hours maintenance on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and general repairs.
• Complete work orders promptly and document tasks in the maintenance system.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment, guest rooms, spa systems, and facilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve urgent issues quickly to minimize guest impact.
• Maintain resort grounds, lighting, signage, and outdoor amenities.
• Assist with seasonal projects, renovations and upgrades.
• Support Solstice BioSpa equipment upkeep (sauna, systems, lighting).
• Ensure safety standards and resort policies are followed.
• Collaborate with housekeeping/front desk/management to prioritize tasks.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.

• Support Solstice BioSpa equipment upkeep (sauna, hydrogen systems, lighting arrays, etc.)


• Ensure all work meets safety standards and complies with resort policies


• Collaborate with housekeeping, front desk, and management to prioritize tasks


• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
