Job summary

Ameritas is launching the TechTrek internship in Lincoln, Nebraska, a 12‑month program that exposes you to Ameritas' technology ecosystem through AI and the software development lifecycle to create business‑driven solutions across analysis, development, testing, security, and data engineering.

This hybrid role begins May 2027, with part‑time hours during the school year and full‑time in the summer; PT is 10–20 hours/week and FT is 30–40 hours/week.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's or Technical Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or another related field.
Able to fulfill a year-round commitment - part-time during the academic year and full-time during the summer.
PT includes 10-20 hours a week.
FT includes 30-40 hours a week.

Responsibilities

Design and develop software solutions in collaboration with project teams.
Incorporate data engineering, security, and testing practices into work.
Gather requirements through interviews and research and present results.
Support artifacts and visualizations for stakeholders; learn IT and security resources.
Perform hands-on development, debugging, and deployment of business-driven solutions.
