Ameritas is seeking a Marketing Intern for Meetings and Events in Lincoln, Nebraska. The role supports learning and networking events for financial professionals nationwide and their assistants, helping craft promotion and communication plans while implementing them.

This is a hybrid role with in-office and work-from-home elements. The internship begins May 2027 and requires part-time during the school year and full-time in the summer.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a college program, part-time for entire internship.
• Ability to commit to 12–18 month internship; PT 20 hrs/wk, FT 40 hrs/wk.
• Strong writing and proofreading skills.
• Strong work ethic and high-work speed and capacity.
• Ability to meet deadlines with good time management, organization, and communication.
• High resilience, positive attitude, and adaptability.
• Ability to multi-task and manage several projects.

Responsibilities

• Promotion planning: create a tactical schedule of promotions for field events.
• Tactical execution: write and develop ads, articles, and other promotions from concept to completion.
• Workfront Project Management: track marketing projects to completion.
• Copywriting & Proofing: write, proof, and route event communications for approvals.
• Online Content Management: post content on event communications pages and portals.
