Workshop is a fast-growing startup in Omaha that builds software to empower internal communications teams. As a Software Engineer Intern you will work with engineers and designers to ship product features into our app and gain hands-on experience building real features that customers rely on.

You will be mentored in modern software development practices and AI-assisted tools, with access to Claude Code, Cursor and Codex, and you will gain exposure to production code and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of programming foundations and interest in learning modern software development methodologies.
• Driven to accomplish big things and eager to learn.
• Curious about latest code frameworks and AI-assisted development.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with engineers and designers to build product features into our app.
• Contribute to improvements that have a real impact on customers and the business.
• Ship code to production regularly with autonomy and support.
• Be mentored in modern software engineering practices including AI-assisted development.
• Have access to AI development tools to assist coding and learning.
