Job summary

AEP is seeking a Technology User Experience Designer to research, explore, and prototype digital experiences that help customers and employees achieve their goals. The role focuses on user research, discovery, experience planning, flows, and usability testing, using human-centered design to move from understanding problems to validated solutions.

You will translate research insights with business and Technology partners into intuitive, accessible experiences, including AI-enabled experiences

Qualifications

Human-centered design applied to digital products.
Experience with user research and usability testing.
Create UX deliverables: flows, IA, wireframes, prototypes.
Knowledge of IA, accessibility, usability, and UX research methods.
Proficient with UX tools for research, design, prototyping.
Strong communication and collaboration under guidance.

Responsibilities

Plan and conduct user research (interviews, usability tests, card sorts, workshops).
Analyze research into actionable insights and create personas and maps.
Facilitate discovery and ideation with stakeholders and teams.
Communicate research insights to guide product and experience decisions.
Contribute to visions and strategies linking user needs to business goals.
Explore AI-enabled experiences to enhance customer and employee interactions.
Represent user needs in product and technology discussions.
