We have an exciting opportunity to join the Caterpillar team as a Construction Technology Utilization Representative. This is a highly experienced, customer‑facing field role responsible for leading technology adoption, activation, and utilization across the Mountain West District.
As a Construction Technology Utilization Representative, you will lead adoption, activation, and utilization of Caterpillar’s construction technology solutions across the Mountain West District. This customer‑facing field role requires strong technical credibility, deep product knowledge, and the ability to influence dealers and customers through complex discussions that drive measurable productivity, safety, and business outcomes.
The CI Technology Portfolio includes solutions such as Cat Grade, Payload, Cat Command, Detect, and VisionLink and other productivity‑ and safety‑enabled technologies.
Customer Focus
Understands customer needs, gathers feedback, and translates insights into practical technology solutions that improve satisfaction and business outcomes.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking
Analyzes information, evaluates risks and trade‑offs, and uses sound judgment to make productive, data‑informed decisions.
Negotiating
Leads constructive, collaborative discussions focused on win‑win outcomes, issue resolution, and productive dealer and customer relationships.
Relationship Management
Builds trust with customers, dealers, and internal partners by responding promptly, monitoring satisfaction, and helping resolve critical issues.
Business Development
Identifies market opportunities, understands customer segments, and supports growth of Caterpillar technology solutions.

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
