Job summary

Brilliant Corners is seeking a Technology Training Specialist to design, implement and oversee the Data and Technology Department’s training program across the organization and with external partners. You will develop internal training materials, deliver web-based and in-person trainings, and engage diverse audiences while quickly grasping complex content.

This hybrid California role requires strong presenting skills, collaboration with Product Development, and continuous improvement of training

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in a training or education role, preferably in the non-profit or social services sector
• Excellent people skills, collaboration and interpersonal relationships—unflappably patient
• Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Strong multitasking, organization, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Experience using e-learning software such as Articulate 360
• Comfort with presenting in front of groups in various settings

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver technology training based on organizational needs
• Coordinate in-person and virtual training sessions, manage logistics
• Create user guides, instructional materials, and self-study documents
• Identify training needs with internal management and design effective plans
• Collaborate with Product Development to update software training for end users
• Develop and modify training assessments and evaluations for quality improvement
• Monitor attendance, metrics, and outcomes of training initiatives
• Evaluate training programs and modify content for continuous improvement
• Conduct skills and knowledge assessments for staff development
• Collaborate on agency-wide trainings, including onboarding
• Research new training tools to improve end-user experience
• Perform other duties to support the Data and Tech Department
