Job summary

Wiley|Wilson, an employee-owned architecture-engineering firm, seeks a Technology Systems Project Designer in Richmond, VA. You will design telecom networks, cabling, AV, and security for vertical building projects, coordinating Revit models and documents with senior staff.

Ideal candidates have 3–7 years in the AEC industry, strong collaboration, and proficiency in Revit and MS Office. Travel 10–15% may be required, with a hybrid work setup and ESOP benefits.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience designing telecom networks, cabling, AV, and security for vertical buildings.
• AEC industry experience required.
• Associate's degree or higher in Engineering/Architecture or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design telecom networks, structured cabling, AV, and electronic security for diverse projects.
• Develop and coordinate Revit models and construction documents.
• Collaborate with senior Technology Systems staff to deliver high-quality designs and grow technical expertise.
• Attend client and project meetings; travel approx. 10%-15%.
