Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in Dallas, TX is seeking a Technology Systems Designer with experience in telecom, security, and AV to support the design of highly technical spaces on landmark projects nationwide. You will collaborate with clients, architects, and MEP engineers to create CAD/BIM layouts and system narratives that meet performance goals.

This role offers a hybrid work schedule with in‑office Mondays through Thursdays and remote Fridays, professional growth, and the chance to influence

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 5–7 years of audiovisual, telecom, IT, or security design experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Design layout of trade-specific systems using CAD/BIM and coordinate with other trades.
• Prepare specifications, system narratives, and layouts for varied project sizes.
• Conduct field inspections and assist in due diligence and reports.
• Assist senior engineers with RFIs, change orders, and project scheduling.
