Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Senior Technology Systems Consultant with strong ICT system design experience across Telecom/IT/Audio Visual and Security. The role focuses on designing, coordinating, and delivering highly technical spaces such as critical facilities, corporate interiors, and aviation-related projects.

You will work with clients and engineering teams, supporting calculations, CAD/BIM layouts, and trade coordination while advancing from basic to complex

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 7–10 years of audiovisual/telecom/IT/security design experience.
• Good communication, organization, and project coordination skills.
• Knowledge of active networks, structured cabling and Wi‑Fi concepts.

Responsibilities

• Support design efforts on a range of projects with CAD/BIM layouts.
• Perform calculations and coordinate with other trades under senior staff guidance.
• Develop specifications, system narratives and layouts for various project sizes.
• Conduct field inspections to assess conditions and coordinate new work.
• Assist with RFI’s, Change Orders, Bulletins and Addenda; QA/QC oversight.
• Interact with clients, architects, and internal design teams to align designs.
