Job summary

NEXT Electric, LLC in Madison, Wisconsin seeks a full-time Technology Superintendent to oversee onsite technical teams, plan labor and material needs, and coordinate with customers and general contractors.

They will review blueprints, supervise installation and testing of systems, enforce safety, and provide customer training and support to ensure projects finish on time and to high quality standards.

Qualifications

• 15 years recent low voltage installation experience with 5 years supervisory experience.
• BICSI Installer or Technician Certification required, BICSI RCDD Certification a plus.
• Proficient communications and PC/MS Office Suite (Excel, Word) skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises & coordinates work at jobsites and plans labor/material requirements.
• Analyzes blueprints effectively for jobsite knowledge and planning of upcoming tasks.
• Visits multiple jobsites and interacts with crews, customers, leaders, and general contractors to ensure jobs run as expected.
• Maintains accurate installation plans using document management system & change logs.
• Ensures projects are completed on time and within quality standards.
• Enforces safety policies & procedures and leads jobsite toolbox talks.
• Serves as main customer contact for inquiries or concerns and attends site meetings.
• Facilitates installation of pathways/cabling and peripheral devices installation/termination.
• Ensures programming and testing of systems per specifications.
• Facilitates Systems Training for customers and provides quality customer support.

• Visits multiple jobsites and interacts with crews, customers, leaders, and general contractors to ensure jobs are running as expected
• Maintains accurate installation plan utilizing document management system & change logs
• Ensures projects completed on time and within quality standards
• Enforces company & customer safety policies & procedures, completes jobsite safety inspections and daily jobsite safety forms, and leads jobsite toolbox talks
• Understands customer expectations, serves as main customer contact for inquiries or concerns, and attends site and project meetings as required
• Facilitates installation of pathways/cabling and installation/termination of peripheral devices
• Ensures programming and testing of Systems completed per specifications
• Facilitates Systems Training for customers
• Provides quality customer support services.

Qualifications

• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check and MVR check, and drug-test as may be required per federal or client contract, or DOT policy
