Job summary

NEXT Electric, LLC seeks a full-time Technology Foreman in Madison, Wisconsin. The role oversees System Technicians, plans labor, and ensures safety compliance while coordinating with Project Managers to keep tasks on budget.

You will analyze blueprints, supervise installations, and conduct system programming and testing. Experience in low voltage installation and BICSI certification is required; strong communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years recent low voltage installation experience.
• BICSI Installer Copper & Fiber Certification or BICSI Technician Certification or equivalent certification required.
• Proficient communication (verbal/written), personal computer, and MS Office (EXCEL, WORD, OUTLOOK) skills.
• Successfully pass pre-employment background check, and MVR check when operating motor vehicles, and drug-test as may be required per federal or client contract, or DOT policy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates & supervises activities of System Technicians including planning of labor requirements.
• Leads weekly jobsite safety toolbox talks; completes jobsite safety forms and inspections.
• Coordinates with Project Managers to ensure productivity and task completions are within project budget guidelines.
• Analyzes blueprints effectively for job site knowledge.
• Monitors progress of implemented tasks and timely deliverables.
• Completes overall job layout for projects of limited scope and size.
• Installation and Termination of peripheral devices.
• Programming and testing of installed Systems.
• Provides quality customer support services.
