Job summary

Randstad North America is seeking an experienced leader to head North American Technology Portfolio Strategy and Execution, acting as the operating engine and strategic partner to tech and business leadership. You will drive governance, executive communications, and funding models, maturing delivery playbooks and aligning regional efforts with global goals.

The role requires 15+ years of related experience, a technical and business oriented background, and proven ability to influence strategy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar field required.
• MBA preferred for leadership track and strategic oversight.
• 15+ years of related and progressive experience across technology and business domains.
• Broad understanding of technology portfolio management, executive operations, financial management (CapEx/OpEx, TCO, Run vs. Build).
• Leadership and direction for large portfolio segments, executive cadence, and project teams.
• Accountability for performance, strategy execution, and outcomes across regional/global functions.
• Strategy influence and execution; annual portfolio plans; funding/delivery model maturation.

Responsibilities

• Structure CIO operating routines, ITMT cadences, QBRs, town halls, and exec reporting.
• Lead Portfolio Governance across technology execution and cross-functional partners.
• Own prioritization frameworks and transparent communications on tech strategy.
• Define and enforce enterprise delivery playbooks and funding models.
• Oversee Run vs. Build budget allocations and cost management.
• Refine IT operating model; balance capacity vs. demand; onshore/offshore distribution.
• Establish portfolio reviews and core processes; leverage AI to optimize operations.
