Job summary

Applied Systems is seeking a Portfolio Strategy Director to lead the portfolio layer for Product and Engineering. You will shape the operating cadence, frameworks, and reporting that enables decision making and value realization across the company.

You will connect product and engineering work to the financial plan, build capacity models, and craft board-ready narratives. The role requires deep cross-functional influence and strategic thinking in a remote North America setting.

Qualifications

• 12+ years combined across product operations, business operations, chief of staff roles, strategy/operations consulting, or high-growth SaaS operations.
• Ability to build operating models, structure complex cross-functional analyses and deliver board-ready decks.
• Comfort working with engineers, product managers and executives to drive decisions.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate portfolio prioritization and tradeoff conversations between product, engineering and leadership.
• Connect the roadmap to the financial plan and define ROI with a capacity model.
• Define reporting architecture for product/engineering outcomes and translate data into actionable insights.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and align senior stakeholders across functions.
