Job summary

John Deere seeks a Technology Specialist for the Strategic Accounts Group to lead onboarding and implementation of the Operations Center, ensuring connectivity and data integration for SAG customers. You will train and coach customers and SAG teammates, driving adoption of tools and workflows including ProService.

The role partners with other Deere functions to deliver required changes, identify efficiency gains, and represent the voice of the customer in ISG. Remote work is available.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience.
  • Experience in onboarding, training, or consulting customers.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

  • Lead onboarding and implementation of John Deere Operations Center with proper setup and data integration.
  • Provide training, coaching, and ongoing support to customers and SAG team members.
  • Coordinate with Deere functions to enable system changes for SAG customers.
  • Advise customers to improve efficiency through connected tech solutions.
  • Monitor adoption and resolve issues to drive utilization.
  • Advocate for customer needs within ISG and suggest product improvements.

This position is eligible for remote work at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.


Your Responsibilities

As the Technology Specialist within Strategic Accounts Group (SAG), you will:



  • Lead customer onboarding and implementation of John Deere Operations Center, ensuring proper account setup, machine connectivity, data integration, and system readiness.

  • Provide training, coaching, and ongoing support to help customers and SAG team members confidently adopt and utilize Operations Center tools, features, and workflows, including ProService.

  • Coordinate with other Deere functions to enable system changes required to meet the needs of the SAG customers account functionality

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and decision-making through connected technology solutions.

  • Monitor customer adoption proactively addressing barriers and resolving issues to driving increased utilization.

  • Serve as the voice of the customer within John Deere Integrated Solutions Group (ISG), advocating for product enhancements, process improvements, and solutions that increase customer satisfaction.

What Skills You Need


  • Working knowledge of digital construction technologies, including telematics and machine connectivity.

  • Proven customer-facing experience delivering training, consulting, implementation, or technical support to customers with varying levels of technology proficiency.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into practical business value for customers.

  • Ability to manage multiple customer implementations and priorities, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and attention to detail.

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%


What Makes You Stand Out


  • Experience with John Deere Operations Center, Precision Construction, SmartGrade™, JDLink™, or other connected construction technology solutions.

  • Knowledge of construction workflows, including earthmoving, grading, site development, paving, utility installation, production measurement, and project tracking.

  • Experience analyzing and utilizing equipment, productivity, and telematics data to improve customer performance and operational efficiency.

  • Background in training, customer success, or technology adoption, with a demonstrated ability to drive long-term customer engagement and utilization.


Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology, Business/Management, Marketing, or Education ora related area of study or equivalent experience
