Job summary

Kitsap County seeks a Technology Specialist to design, develop, and maintain business applications that improve efficiency and security for county operations. You will work with SharePoint Online/server, WordPress, .NET, Power Platform, and enterprise integrations.

The role emphasizes collaboration with IT staff and leadership, producing documentation, and delivering end-user training while supporting multiple projects in a public service setting.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of two years of professional experience developing, supporting, or maintaining software applications or enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, test, debug, and implement custom software applications and enterprise solutions.
• Design and maintain SharePoint Online/Server solutions utilizing CSOM/SSOM and Office 365 technologies.
• Create and enhance document management, metadata automation, and retention solutions within SharePoint environments.
• Develop custom WordPress plugins and web applications using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Implement SPFx, PowerShell scripting, and Power Automate workflows to streamline processes.
• Analyze existing applications to identify enhancements and improved functionality.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and support enterprise applications; prepare technical documentation.
• Collaborate with project teams and leadership; provide technical guidance and training.
