Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) seeks a Technology Services Senior Designer to translate system design concepts into specific ICT layouts.

You will lead ICT design for healthcare, higher education, and scientific environments, interpreting basis of design with input from users, consultants, and field surveys. Qualified candidates will have 7+ years in ICT design within built environments, familiarity with Revit MEP and AutoCAD, and an ability to manage budgets and project options.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience designing ICT systems in built environments or electrical/consultant firms.
• RCDD certification recommended or required.

Why We Need You

In this role, you will use prior experience to convert system design concepts into specific layouts by interpreting information set forth in basis of design as well as information gathered from users, other consultants, field surveys and code research.

Expertise Of Our Most Successful Technology Services Senior Designer

• 7+ years' experience designing Information Communications Technology (ICT) systems in a Built Environment, Building Technology, or Electrical consultant firm: structured cabling, voice/data systems, emergency communications, audio-visual systems, mission critical/data center connectivity, clinical communication systems to name a few.
• Experience in leading the ICT design for projects in Healthcare, Higher Education, and Scientific environments.
• Understanding of in Revit MEP and AutoCAD capabilities.
• Experience with ICT systems and infrastructure, including budgets, capabilities, options.
