Job summary

The Goldman Sachs Group seeks a Windows Platform Security Engineer to design and maintain security controls across the enterprise Windows ecosystem, spanning OS hardening, endpoint protection, IAM, and hybrid cloud environments.

You will implement baselines, administer EDR/XDR and threat detection, manage GPOs and MFA, and collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, and Cyber Defense teams to strengthen the security posture across on-prem and cloud.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience securing Windows platforms and hardening clients/servers.
• Proficiency with security baselines, GPOs, and security configurations.
• Ability to partner with infrastructure, cloud, and cyber defense teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication across the organization.
• Experience with identity and access management controls and MFA.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain security controls across Windows ecosystem.
• Develop baselines and hardening standards for Windows OS.
• Administer endpoint security tooling (EDR/XDR, antivirus, threat detection).
• Manage IAM controls including MFA, conditional access and PIM.
• Secure modern workplace deployments and browser policies.
• Enforce network security controls across on-prem and cloud.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align security posture.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation planning.
• Draft security policies, standards and procedures.
