Job summary

Goldman Sachs seeks a Windows Platform Security Engineer to design and maintain security controls across the enterprise Windows ecosystem, spanning OS hardening, endpoint protection, identity governance, modern workplace technologies, and hybrid cloud environments.

The ideal candidate will develop security baselines, manage IAM controls, and collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, and Cyber Defense teams to ensure a secure posture across on-premises and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• At least eight-plus years of experience in Windows platform security or a related role.
• Proficient with security configuration management tools.
• Ability to influence technical teams and collaborate to reduce attack surface.
• Understand complex infrastructure, identities, access controls and least privilege.
• Strong written and oral communication across organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security baselines and hardening standards across Windows platform.
• Manage IAM controls including authentication, authorization, privileged access, and conditional access.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, and Cyber Defense teams to ensure a unified security posture.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation planning.
• Draft security policies, standards and procedures.
• Design and develop for on-premises and hybrid (on prem + cloud) solutions.
• Design security for monitoring, logging, IAM, encryption and data protection.
