Job summary

Bank of Montreal seeks a senior technology risk governance professional to provide risk advisory and regulatory compliance support within the Technology group. You will drive oversight, strengthen controls, and align risk appetite with business goals.

You will perform ORMF/ECP-based risk assessments, maintain the PRC framework, and communicate policy changes. The role requires deep data analytics, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and the ability to explain complex topics to non-technical

Qualifications

• At least 10+ years of technology or financial industry work experience with a graduate or post-graduate degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, math or business management.
• At least 5 years of experience in risk and compliance domain with an ability to analyze and evaluate observations based on compliance, operations, risk model and performance.
• Ability to review all written materials for compliance with state, federal, and contractual regulations and draft policy language.
• Strong data analytics and presentation skills, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and how they are implemented in large organizations.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert Regulatory Compliance support to Technology in support of Enterprise Compliance Program (ECP).
• Identify and communicate regulatory changes via ERDF and implement ECP activities.
• Perform risk assessments in accordance with ORMF and ECP requirements.
• Maintain the Technology ORMF PRC Framework, Tool, and Control Library for a holistic control view.
• Oversee enterprise-level policy changes impacting Technology and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Leverage data to perform root cause and predictive analysis and deliver risk and compliance reports.
