Job summary

Jefferies is seeking a Senior Operational Risk Manager to join the Global Operational Risk Management team in New York. The role serves as the primary second-line lead for Technology Risk globally, aligning with the firm's risk policies and risk appetite.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Operational Risk, Front Office Control, Audit, Technology Risk, Cyber Risk, or a related risk function.
• Strong understanding of technology risk frameworks and risk domains including SDLC, cyber risk, and third-party tech risk.
• Experience guiding RCSA processes, scenario analysis, risk assessments, and KRI monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Establishing and implementing the Operational risk framework and processes in line with firm-wide risk appetite and policy.
• Managing Operational Risk events in the U.S. region and supporting events globally as needed, including investigation and remediation tracking.
• Acting as the primary second-line Operational Risk lead for Technology Risk globally with cross-functional partnership.
• Leading Operational Risk deep dives, thematic reviews, scenario analysis, and control enhancement initiatives.
• Managing the RCSA process focused on Technology Risk and key U.S. business areas.
• Monitoring KRIs and risk metrics to identify emerging risks and support escalation.
• Coordinating monthly and quarterly Operational Risk reporting and management reporting.
• Providing training on the Operational Risk Management Process to stakeholders.
