Capital One is seeking a Senior Associate, Technology Controls Testing in the Enterprise Services Risk Operations (ESRO) organization in McLean, VA. You will apply risk management skills to the Technology organization, partnering with ES, Divisional CIO, and Information Security to test controls and report results.

The role emphasizes IAM, cloud technologies, cyber risk assessment, and clear communication of findings.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or military experience is required.

Responsibilities

Apply cyber best practices to assess current state, identify gaps, and assess cyber risk, threats, and impact.
Define mitigation strategies, prioritizes and escalates recommendations.
Perform independent control testing activities and document results.
Communicate findings to stakeholders.
Project manage assigned engagements to meet timelines.
Establish and maintain relationships during testing engagements.
Execute tasks assigned by manager to deliver on team objectives.
Collaborate with team members when necessary.
Possesses an understanding of technology systems at an aggregate level including networks, applications, cloud computing, and data.
Demonstrates understanding of cyber threat categories and safeguards.
Leverages Excel/Google Sheets to analyze data for cyber risk management.
