Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Plano, Texas is seeking a Tech Risk & Controls Lead to drive risk identification, mitigation, and governance within Infrastructure Platforms.

You will partner with product owners, control teams, and regulators to ensure controls are effective and compliant. This leadership role requires deep knowledge of risk management principles, experience with cloud services and data security, and the ability to guide a diverse team through evolving regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technology risk management, cybersecurity, or related field with regulatory focus
• Experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to support risk/workflows
• Ability to validate AI-assisted risk summaries and recommendations
• Familiarity with risk management frameworks and financial industry regulatory requirements
• Proficient knowledge of data security, risk assessment, reporting, and governance
• Ability to influence executive-level decisions and translate tech insights into business strategy
• Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS) and infrastructure platforms

Responsibilities

• Identify, quantify, communicate, and manage technology risk with root cause analysis
• Use AI capabilities to accelerate synthesis of risk evidence and draft executive reporting
• Validate remediation and closure readiness for issues
• Develop relationships with LOB technologists, assessment teams, and data officers
• Coordinate risk activities with Audit and 2nd/3rd Line of Defense and regulators
• Lead responses to RFIs and audit requests for executive leadership
• Monitor control effectiveness and propose enhancements to regulatory compliance
• Manage Risk Assessment structure within CORE framework for remediation validation
• Ensure accurate mapping and monitoring of processes, risks, controls, and mitigations
• Promote reuse of AI-assisted controls testing and remediation workflows
