Job summary

JPMorganChase in Plano, TX is seeking a Tech Risk & Controls Lead to drive risk mitigation and operational excellence across the Infrastructure Platforms team. You will own end-to-end resiliency testing for datacenter and cloud environments, lead AI-enabled risk reporting, and partner with Product Owners, Cybersecurity and Regulators to strengthen the firm’s risk posture.

Your leadership will shape the resiliency framework, align with regulatory obligations, and foster practical AI adoption.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technology risk management, cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Experience using enterprise AI capabilities to support technology risk and controls workflows.
• Ability to review and validate AI-assisted risk summaries and recommendations for security, auditability and regulatory compliance.
• Strong background in technology resilience, DR planning and cloud recovery concepts.
• Hands-on experience with AWS products/services for resilience, backup and multi-region recovery.
• Practical proficiency with LLM tools like Claude and AI-assisted development environments.
• Proven program or project management with ability to deliver against metrics and quality targets.
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of datacenter and cloud resiliency test events, from scoping to execution and closure.
• Use enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate risk evidence synthesis and executive reporting.
• Lead live test execution, coordinating stakeholders and keeping leadership informed.
• Identify resiliency risks, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions to closure.
• Champion AI adoption across the team, leveraging Claude and VS Code to automate documentation.
• Promote reuse-first, AI-assisted testing and control-evidence processes with auditability in mind.
• Analyze test results, incident histories and compliance data at scale to surface remediation priorities.
• Drive the resiliency roadmap across multi-region cloud and on-premises environments.
• Monitor effectiveness of resiliency controls against firm-wide standards and TRAPs.
• Deliver governance and reporting on test compliance, controls and issues to senior management.
• Foster trusted relationships with product owners, cybersecurity, and resilience partners to align on outcomes.
