Job summary

RSM is seeking a Technology Risk Consultant to join its Risk Consulting and TRC team. You will help clients strengthen IT controls, governance, and risk management in alignment with business objectives.

This role involves travel to client locations, collaboration with accounting and information systems teams, and contributing to SOX, SOC, and IT controls testing.

We value strong communication, project management, and integrity; CPA/CISA/CIA certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing at least a BA/BS degree, expected completion by Dec 2026 or Jun 2027.
• CPA, CISA, or CIA certification preferred but not required.
• Strong written and verbal communication; travel to client locations may be required.
• Excellent multi-tasking and project management; ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and optimizing IT controls for client engagements.
• Support SOX and SOC engagements and IT controls testing.
• Engage with client leadership on risk strategies and control improvement.
• Prepare internal control documentation to support engagements.
• Collaborate with accounting and information systems teams across client projects.
