Job summary

EY is seeking a Technology Risk Analyst within the Assurance practice's 360 Careers program in the United States. The role offers exposure to IT risk, SOC and ITGC work across multiple industries, with a hybrid work model and travel as needed.

You should be pursuing or hold a degree in Accounting or Information Systems and aspire to relevant certifications (CPA, CISA, CISSP, CA). A valid U.S. work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Have or be working toward an undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• Desire and educational requirements to pursue a relevant certification (CPA, CISA, CISSP, CA).
• A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) is required, with a preference for candidates with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
• An interest in working with a hybrid model and working in person 40-60% of the time over an engagement/year.
• Desire to work in IT audit as demonstrated by relevant coursework or internship experience.
• Ability to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary; travel may be required beyond the location based on client needs.
• Reliable transportation; a driver’s license recommended where locations may lack transport options.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship; government work requires U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Understand and document clients’ business and IT processes, risks, and controls.
• Perform control documentation and testing through review of client evidence and interviews.
• Collaborate with engagement team to plan the engagement and develop work program timelines; assign responsibilities for key tasks and prepare planning documents.
• Monitor and manage project progress and risks; keep key stakeholders informed about progress and outcomes.
• Create flowcharts and process documentation for relevant processes.
• Perform SOC reports, third‑party risk assessments, IT risk/controls framework design and ITGC assessments as part of SOX and audits.
