Job summary

Ernst & Young U.S. LLP in San Jose, CA, seeks an Assurance - Technology Risk Manager for multiple openings. This full-time role involves planning and performing IT audit and attestation work with 40-hour weeks, and up to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field and 5 years of progressive IT audit/IT risk advisory experience.
• Master’s degree candidates: 4 years of related experience in IT audit/risk advisory.
• 3 years of supervisory/managerial experience in financial audit IT.
• 3 years of experience supervising IT portions of audits (ITGCs, ERP, applications).
• Eligible to obtain CPA, CA, CISA, CGEIT, CIA, CISSP, CISM, CIPT, CRISC, CMA within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform IT-related external and internal audit and attestation procedures for clients.
• Apply IT, data analytics, and internal control knowledge to deliver high-quality engagements.
• Understand client industry, drivers, and tech developments to provide insights.
• Manage and motivate teams of professionals on engagements.
• Cultivate client relationships and business development opportunities.
