Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a dedicated professional to support a Senior Executive body on technology protection-related matters in the United States. You will contribute ideas and strategies to protect critical technology data and interact with senior DoW leaders and staff.

The role involves analyzing complex issues, coordinating with protection communities, and preparing reports on program investments and deficiencies. A clear path for an emerging leader with a bias for action is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years of experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance, willingness to submit to a polygraph.
• U.S. Citizenship required for security clearance.
• Experience in technology protection-related fields (intelligence, security, cybersecurity, etc.).
• Emerging leader with bias for action and collaborative mindset.
• Experience with problem framing on complex technical issues.
• Interest in leveraging AI with knowledge of a programming language (Python, R, Ruby, Rust, Julia, etc.).
• Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and other desktop applications.

• Provide expertise and new ideas to team members and senior DoW leaders in developing and implementing updated strategies to protect critical technology data.
• Support high-ranking DoW Senior Executives and interact with DoW Senior Executives, Flag/General Officers, and their staff.
• Analyze and provide recommendations on DoW technology protection-related matters from research to deployment.
• Coordinate with technology protection community representatives across the full capability lifecycle.
• Compare, analyze, and evaluate the relative merits of program activities and alternatives.
• Prepare reports and briefs summarizing events, requirements, deficiencies, and investments for various programs.

• Serve as a key member of a small, tight-knit team supporting a Senior Executive body for technology protection-related matters
• Provide expertise and new ideas to team members and senior Department of War (DoW) leaders in developing and implementing updated strategies to protect critical technology data
• Support high-ranking DoW Senior Executives and interact with other DoW Senior Executives, Flag/General Officers, and their support staffs
• Analyze and provide recommendations on issues dealing with the full spectrum of DoW technology protection-related matters, from research through capability deployment/employment
• Coordinate with technology protection community representatives on issues spanning the full capability lifecycle
• Compare, analyze and evaluate the relative merits of program activities and alternatives
• Prepare reports and briefs, summarizing formal events and commentary, requirements, deficiencies, and investments for various programs, systems, and activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant area with 3-5 years of experience
• Active TS/SCI clearance, with a willingness to submit to a polygraph
• U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance
• Experience with or real-world exposure to a technology protection-related field or topic, i.e., intelligence, counterintelligence, security, OPSEC, cybersecurity, SCRM, industrial base protection, etc.
• Emerging leader with a bias for action and preference for working collaboratively on small, mission-oriented teams
• Experience with problem framing on complex technical issues
• Experience or interest in leveraging AI, preferably with a working knowledge of a relevant programming language (i.e., Python, R, Ruby, Rust, Julia, etc.)
• Experience in effectively prioritizing personal workload to meet deadlines and work objectives
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and other desktop applications
