Job summary

QBE North America is seeking a Project Manager to define, plan, manage, and deliver small to medium business and IT projects to achieve desired business results within specified time frames.

You will lead cross-functional teams, apply PLC and SDLC methodology, advise the business on delivery strategies, and build strong relationships with customers while working in a hybrid setup across Fargo ND, Ramsey MN, Council Bluffs IA and Eau Claire WI.

Qualifications

• Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Experience managing short-term projects.

The Opportunity

The purpose of this role is to define, plan, manage, and deliver small to medium business and Information Technology (IT) projects to achieve desired business results within specified time frames.

Locations and Work Arrangement

• Location: Fargo, North Dakota; Ramsey, Minnesota; Council Bluffs, Iowa; Eau Claire, Wisconsin
• Work Arrangement: This role is hybrid, where you will be expected to be in the office 2-3 days per week.

• Provide advice and guidance to the business on delivery strategy and plans to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Maintain work practices following established project management policies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Support planning and implementation of complex initiatives using project management methodology to ensure adherence to deadlines and financial requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers to minimize risk and meet project milestones.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by demonstrating cultural expectations and influencing others.
• Utilize established project management methodology including Project Life Cycle (PLC) and Solution Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Manage cross-functional project teams to deliver diverse and complex projects.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Experience

• Experience managing short-term projects.

Compensation Package

The salary range for this role is provided above. This is the national range for location(s) listed. The salary offer will be decided based on the role's complexity, its location, and the candidate’s professional background, including their education and experience. Beyond the base salary, regular full-time and part-time employees will also be eligible for QBE’s annual discretionary bonus plan based on business and individual performance.
