Job summary

Garda Capital Partners seeks a Technology Project Manager to bring structure to project delivery across the Technology organization. Initially focusing on infrastructure initiatives, including cloud migration and vendor transitions, with expansion to cybersecurity and data projects.

Reporting to the CTO, you will plan, coordinate, and report on multiple concurrent projects while upholding standardized project management practices.

Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of technology project management experience, preferably in financial services or regulated industries.
  • Experience planning and delivering infrastructure or technical projects with engineering/tech teams.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across teams without direct authority.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Asana, MS Project, and Agile plus traditional delivery methods.
  • Interest or experience in cybersecurity, infrastructure, investment technology, or trading tech projects is a plus.
  • PM certification (PMP/PRINCE2) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with technology leads across Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Investment Technology, Data, and Risk Applications to plan, coordinate, and track project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, resource plans, and RAID logs across multiple initiatives.
  • Lead regular project meetings, monitor progress, identify risks, and escalate issues with recommendations.
  • Coordinate priorities and dependencies across technology teams, vendors, and global stakeholders.
  • Manage implementation timelines with external vendors and ensure delivery from planning through to completion.
  • Prepare monthly technology portfolio updates for CTO/COO with clear status, risks, milestones, and decisions.
  • Present updates to technical and executive stakeholders and contribute to governance improvements.

Garda is seeking a Technology Project Manager to bring structure and discipline to project delivery across the Technology organization. Initially focused on infrastructure initiatives, including cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, and vendor/tooling transitions, the role will expand over time to support cybersecurity, investment technology, data, and other technology initiatives. Reporting to the CTO, this individual will partner with technology leads to plan, coordinate, execute, and report on multiple concurrent projects while adhering to the CTO's project management standards.

Position Responsibilities

  • Partner with technology leads across Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Investment Technology, Data, and Risk Applications to plan, coordinate, and track project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, resource plans, and RAID logs (risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies) across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Lead regular project meetings, monitor progress, identify risks and blockers, and escape issues with recommendations to help keep projects on track.
  • Coordinate priorities and dependencies across technology teams, vendors, and business stakeholders located across global offices.
  • Manage implementation timelines with external vendors and support successful project execution from planning through delivery.
  • Prepare monthly technology portfolio updates for the CTO and COO, providing clear reporting on project status, risks, milestones, and key decisions.
  • Present project updates to technical and executive stakeholders while supporting continuous improvement of project management standards, governance, and reporting.

Qualifications & Desired Skills

  • 3-6 years of technology project management experience, preferably within financial services, asset management, or another regulated industry.
  • Experience planning and delivering infrastructure or other technical projects in partnership with engineering or technology teams.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and coordinate across teams without direct authority.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms, with familiarity with both Agile and traditional delivery methodologies.
  • Interest or experience in cybersecurity, infrastructure, investment technology, or trading technology projects is preferred.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or a similar project management certification is preferred.

This role is also eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, healthcare plan, 401(k) matching program, etc. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education.

Base Salary for this role is expected to be between:

$100,000 - $130,000 USD
