Job description

Our client is looking for a Technology Project Manager to lead and deliver IT and software development projects from initiation through completion. They will serve as the key liaison between technical teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals. This is a hybrid position based in Dutchess County, NY.

Technology Project Manager's Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Manage full project lifecycle: planning, execution, delivery, and post-launch support
2. Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements
3. Facilitate cross-functional communication and ensure alignment among stakeholders
4. Monitor progress, manage risks, and resolve issues to keep projects on track
5. Maintain project documentation, status reports, and schedules
6. Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives (for Agile teams)

Technology Project Manager's Qualifications and Skills:

1. At least 3 years of project management experience in IT or software development
2. Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
3. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
4. Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project)
5. PMP, CSM, or other relevant certifications a plus
