Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead a Store Technology portfolio in Raleigh, NC. This on-site role focuses on driving large cross-functional initiatives across store operations, POS, fulfillment, inventory, and retail tech modernization.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to support a Store Technology portfolio. This role will lead execution across strategic technology initiatives supporting store operations, point-of-sale systems, fulfillment, delivery services, inventory capabilities, and retail technology modernization.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of large, cross-functional technology initiatives.
• Coordinate across Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, Operations, Support, Architecture, Security, and Business teams.
• Develop delivery plans, milestones, and execution strategies.
• Manage dependencies, risks, issues, and blockers across teams and workstreams.

Required Qualifications

• Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence across organizations without direct authority.
• Expertise with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office, ServiceNow, and delivery reporting tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with retail technology, store systems, POS, supply chain, logistics, fulfillment, or customer-facing platforms.
• Experience coordinating multiple Agile teams and large-scale technology transformation efforts.
• Familiarity with operational readiness and production release processes.
• Experience working within product-centric organizations.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, Scrum Alliance, or similar certifications preferred.
