Alliance Material Handling Inc seeks a Director of Technology to own the technology roadmap, lead ERP evaluation and implementation, and drive AI/automation initiatives across the organization. This on-site role in Jessup, MD leads a cross-functional IT team and partners with finance and operations to modernize data, security, and reporting.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in technology programs within distribution or manufacturing, with ERP experience and a strong process-m mapping mindset.

Qualificações

• Minimum 7 years leading technology programs in a distribution, manufacturing, or logistics setting.
• Proven ERP evaluation, selection or implementation delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, information systems or related field.
• Strong ability to run complex, cross-functional projects to completion.
• Genuine process mapping and redesign capability.
• Experience with data architecture and analytics.
• Vendor and partner management experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically.

Responsabilidades

• Own and maintain multi-year technology roadmap.
• Consolidate technology ownership and be single point of accountability.
• Present recommendations with costs, risks and phased plans.
• Maintain a prioritized backlog of technology investments.
• Lead ERP evaluation, selection and implementation.
• Run ERP evaluation across candidate platforms.
• Own relationship with ERP vendor and renewals.
• Lead ERP implementation with scope, data migration, testing.
• Establish data integration, guardrails and security.
• Establish project execution standards and governance.
• Deliver weekly project status and risk reports.
• Translate customer requirements into system specs.
• Build and maintain documentation standards.
• Lead IT team and manage risk of single points of failure.
• Oversee software vendors and control costs.
• Retire Excel as primary reporting layer.
• Create single source of truth for reporting.
