Job summary

iManage is seeking a Commercial Counsel (Technology & Procurement) to own the legal workstream for technology and vendor agreements, including AI tooling, SaaS, cloud infrastructure, and data agreements. You will partner with procurement, finance, engineering, security, and privacy to negotiate terms and build scalable playbooks.

You should have a JD, bar admission, and 3–5 years of related experience, with a track record negotiating complex tech contracts from the buyer’s perspective.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) and active bar admission in at least one state.
• 3–5 years of commercial legal experience with a focus on technology procurement or buy-side transactions.
• Solid experience negotiating AI and SaaS agreements, cloud and data agreements.
• Ability to manage a diverse, concurrent vendor contract pipeline independently.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of technology and vendor agreements (AI, SaaS, cloud, data) from engagement to master agreement and renewals.
• Review, negotiate, and close vendor contracts, applying risk playbooks and escalating where needed.
• Collaborate with procurement to govern vendor contracts, with legal leading substantive positions and Procurement handling workflows.
• Maintain and scale procurement legal playbooks and self-service resources to improve efficiency.
