Job summary

Phaxis in New York leads end-to-end technology delivery for complex financial services initiatives across Market Risk, Credit Risk, and Trading. You will drive regulatory programs from requirements through production, working closely with Engineering, QA, and technology partners to coordinate the SDLC.

The role requires hands-on collaboration, strong reporting to senior stakeholders, and practical knowledge of risk concepts (VaR, CVA, P&L Explain).

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex financial services delivery programs.
• Experience driving regulatory transformation initiatives (FRTB, SA-CCR, Client 239, or similar).
• Hands-on collaboration with Engineering, QA, and technology partners across the SDLC.
• Proficient with Jira and Confluence for workflows, dashboards, and reporting.
• Strong stakeholder communication with proactive risk escalation and options for delivery decisions.
• Knowledge of risk/trading concepts (VaR, CVA, P&L Explain).
• Budget monitoring and financial impact communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technology delivery for complex financial services initiatives across risk, credit, and trading domains.
• Drive regulatory transformation programs from requirements through production.
• Coordinate development, testing, releases, and overall SDLC execution with engineering and QA.
• Leverage Jira and Confluence to establish project workflows, dashboards, and management reporting.
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for senior stakeholders with concise status reporting and proactive risk escalation.
• Maintain RAID logs, track dependencies and milestones, and oversee delivery risks.
• Monitor project budgets and communicate financial impacts alongside program progress.
