Job summary

Resources Legacy Fund seeks a Technology Operations Director to ensure our tech, operations, and systems empower missions across RLF, FBF, and SAF. You will provide strategic IT leadership, cybersecurity oversight, and drive large-scale initiatives from concept to completion while supporting a remote-first staff and cross‑organizational collaboration.

The role reports to the COO/Chief of Staff and sits on the Leadership Team, guiding budgeting, vendor relationships, and staff development to

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading and managing technology and/or operations teams, with at least 5 years in a director-level role.
• Experience moving complex technology projects from planning through implementation and adoption (ERP, Salesforce) at organizations of 50–200 staff or larger.
• Experience leading enterprise cybersecurity/data protection policy with incident management and vendor risk assessments.
• Hands-on experience evaluating enterprise software platforms, including grants management systems or CRMs; Salesforce preferred.
• 3+ years with fiscal sponsor organizations or multi-entity structures, exposing tech/ops/facilities needs across programs.
• Experience managing vendor relationships/contracts and supervising staff, with ability to present to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the organization’s lead on major technology and systems initiatives.
• Develop and align long-term technology goals and roadmaps with strategy; build timelines and change-management plans.
• Partner with other directors and staff in selecting and utilizing tech platforms.
• Oversee CRM design, maintenance, and management (Salesforce) in collaboration with other leaders.
• Advance the technological fluency of staff and manage IT contractors and services.
• Drive cybersecurity and risk management policies and business continuity planning.
• Oversee facilities and remote-first connectivity needs; manage leases and coworking spaces.
