Tripoint Solutions is seeking a Technology Lead SME to join our team. This position requires extensive experience across major DBMS platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and Postgres, both on-premises and in AWS cloud environments. The role demands expert-level experience in architecting and designing databases for both on-premises and AWS cloud deployments, with a proven track record of leading database teams and managing complex systems in both environments.

Location: Prefer local to DMV, but remote is acceptable. The selected candidate must be currently located in a state supported by Tripoint Solutions' corporate offices: AL, CO, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, LA, MD, MI, MN, MS, NC, NJ, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, or VA.

Responsibilities include:

1. Leading database architecture and design for various DBMS platforms.
2. Managing and mentoring database teams.
3. Overseeing complex database systems in on-premises and cloud environments.
4. Planning and executing database migrations, upgrades, and implementations.
5. Developing strategic plans for database management and optimization.
6. Ensuring database security, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
7. Collaborating with stakeholders and documenting processes.

Experience, Education & Training

• 7+ Years of Related Experience
• Bachelor's Degree
• Strong project management skills
• Expertise in migrating databases from Oracle and SQL Server to open-source platforms like Postgres, including cloud migrations.
• Skills in strategic planning, budgeting, and mentoring.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, database security, and compliance.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Clearance Requirements: US Citizenship or Green Card due to potential security investigations.
