Lehigh Carbon Community College is seeking an Instructor or Assistant Professor in Technology to deliver hands-on instruction across programs such as Construction Technology, Industrial Automation, and Mechanical Technology. The incumbent will develop and update curricula, assess student progress, and collaborate with industry partners to ensure current, employment-ready learning outcomes.

The role starts in August 2027 for the Fall semester, reporting to the Dean of Workforce Development,

Competenze

• Master’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education is required.
• Act 153 Clearances (Act 34 PA Criminal Background, Act 151 PA Child Abuse History, Act 114 FBI Clearance Fingerprinting) required.
• Relevant professional experience in construction, industrial automation, mechanical technology, drafting & design, kitchen & bath design, or related fields.
• Ability to deliver hands-on instruction, develop learning activities, assess student performance, and support students with varying levels of technical experience.
• Teaching experience in a community college setting and using online LMS (CANVAS) preferred.
