Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of current teaching methods and pedagogy.

• Familiarity with MS Office 2003/2007, PC and MAC hardware/software.
• Knowledge of a wide range of industrial and technology-related subjects.

Responsibilities

• Develops and administers technology education curriculum aligned with district goals.
• Teaches mechanics, drafting, electricity, electronics, metalwork, graphics, and related fields.
• Maintains a safe classroom and supports individualized instruction.
• Develops lesson plans and instructional materials with appropriate equipment.
• Designs activities applying technical skills to real-life situations.
• Instructs on safe use of tools and equipment.
• Assesses student learning and adapts instruction for diverse needs.
• Maintains records of student progress and communicates with families.
• Collaborates with staff to maximize technology use in learning.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
