Qualifications

Must have completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field at the time of hire.
Math or Statistics degrees considered with coding experience and exposure to AI Code Generation
Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, or R
Experience with AI/ML frameworks
Coursework, research, internships, or projects involving machine learning, LLMs, generative AI, NLP, computer vision, or related AI disciplines
Hands-on application of AI concepts
Demonstrated curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging AI technologies
Interest in ethical AI, responsible innovation, and human-centered design
Leadership or involvement in clubs, organizations, technical competitions, hackathons, AI challenges, or research symposiums
Must be eligible for employment in the United States
Must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future
Must meet onsite schedules
Must complete pre-employment tasks ~45 days before program start
Must be available in the United States during drug-testing timeframe
Home internet with >=10 Mbps down and 5 Mbps up

Participate in a two-year Technology Development Program building technical expertise and understanding of technology’s role in healthcare transformation
Contribute to the Artificial Intelligence track by building technical solutions that drive innovation across The Cigna Group
Collaborate with peers, mentors, and cross-functional partners on hands-on projects
Support recruiting, innovation efforts, community initiatives, and onboarding experiences
Complete core and track-specific technical training, leadership development, and business exposure
Build organizational relationships through networking, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration
Build, fine-tune, evaluate, or deploy AI/ML models, LLM-based applications, AI agents, or generative AI solutions where applicable
Share ideas with technical and non-technical audiences
Analyze complex problems and develop innovative, responsible technology solutions supporting healthcare and business goals

Requirements

Home internet, when working remotely, must use cable broadband or fiber optic service with at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload
