Job summary

The Cigna Group offers a two-year Technology Development Program designed to build technical expertise and demonstrate how technology accelerates healthcare transformation. Qualifications

• Must have completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field at the time of hire.
• Understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with SQL for database querying and management.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
• Awareness of data governance, data quality, and data integrity principles.
• Academic coursework, internships, or projects focused on data engineering, analytics, or large-scale data systems.
• Leadership or involvement in clubs, organizations, hackathons, technical competitions, or research projects.
• Must be eligible for employment in the United States.
• Must not now or in the future require visa sponsorship, including H-1B, CPT/OPT/STEM.
• Must be available in the United States to complete the pre-employment drug test approximately 45 days before the program start date.
• If working from home, internet service must be cable broadband or fiber optic with at least 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload.
• Must meet the onsite schedule for the assigned office location.
• Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher.
