Job summary

IMEG Corp is hiring a Technology Designer New Graduate in Houston, TX to work with engineers and consultants delivering technology design solutions. This entry-level role includes hands-on design, analysis, and project execution with mentorship and training from day one.

You will assist with low-voltage technology systems design, documentation, and coordination while supporting project delivery and client expectations across healthcare, federal, and mission-critical settings.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical, Electronics, Computer or related Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of design techniques and producing technical plans and specifications.
• Strong technical and analytical skills related to low-voltage systems design for buildings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a team.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% (local, domestic, and occasional international).

Responsibilities

• Develop technology design documentation: drawings, specifications, layouts, system diagrams, schedules, calculations.
• Use software to develop coordinated technology solutions per codes and project requirements.
• Support site visits and existing-condition assessments to document conditions and design considerations.
• Coordinate technology systems with architectural/electrical/mechanical/building systems across design phases.
• Assist in preparing construction documents, specs, and other deliverables.
• Participate in client/ project team meetings and document requirements.
