Norwest Christian College invites applicants for a full-time Technology Teacher (Computing and Engineering / Design & Technology) starting Term 1, 2027. The role focuses on developing students' creativity, problem-solving and technical skills through engaging Technology programs and safe workshop practices.

Qualifications

Ability to teach Technology from Stage 4 to HSC and to integrate design thinking, computing, and engineering concepts.
Commitment to Christian faith and college values in practice.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Willingness to contribute to co-curricular life and professional growth.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging Technology programs across NSW curriculum stages, focusing on creativity, problem-solving and technical skills.
Plan, implement and assess curriculum-aligned learning experiences with safe workshop practices.
Create a positive, well-managed learning environment supporting wellbeing and hands-on learning.
Mentor and guide students to understand their purpose.
