Norwest Christian College is seeking an energetic English Teacher to join our faith-based community from Term 1, 2027. This full-time role focuses on English instruction, faith formation and character development in a supportive environment.

You will collaborate with the English team, develop Stage 4-6 resources and lessons aligned with the NSW syllabus, and contribute to extracurricular life within the College.

Your Role:

• Contribute dynamically to the English team by working collaboratively to create rich learning experiences that strengthen students academically and support the development of positive learning dispositions.
• Bring previous experience, or demonstrate the capacity to develop resources, assessment tasks and lessons that align with the new Stage 4-5 English Syllabus, including the meaningful use of technology and project-based learning where appropriate.
• Demonstrate the capacity and willingness to teach Stage 6 English courses, with knowledge of syllabus requirements and an understanding of NESA requirements for Stage 6 English.
• Have strong communication skills, with the demonstrated ability to build strong connections with students, staff and the wider school community.
